Holiday Hours, Brunch and More
‘Tis the season to be merry! We’re writing to let you know about all kinds of new things we have going on at Rooster’s. The most exciting one may be our new brunch menu. On Saturday and Sundays we will be opening at 10am to provide you a scrumptious morning delight along with a $5 Mimosa Bar decorated with an assortment of fresh juice. Our brunch menu caters to all taste buds and even food limitations.

We highly recommend “Everything but the Kitchen Sink,” which includes jalapeño corn bread, country ham, bacon, grilled onions, two eggs cooked to order, cheese and sausage gravy to top it all off for only $12. If you need proof of how scrumptious it is, please take yourself to the photo below.
Another option could be Eggs in a Basket: a simple breakfast fix with a whole lotta yumminess. It contains two slices of Texas toast, two eggs cooked to order, bacon bits and green onions all for only $8.
Another featured dish is our Build-your-own-Omelet for all of our egg lovers out there.
Now here’s the best part, we have a way to quench your thirst while you’re gorging on all that savory goodness. Our $5 Mimosa Bar with champagne and an assortment of fresh juices is to DIE FOR. We are currently the only restaurant on the Outer Banks that provides a Mimosa Bar (that we know of) so come on and try us out!
We’ve had a lot of inquiries about our holiday hours so here is the lowdown: From December 23-26 we will be closed so that our staff can enjoy time with their families. We will open our doors again on December 27th at 11:30 am and will stay open through 2017 (including NYE)! Yes, you read that right, we’ll be open on NYE if you’d like to get your new year cheer on with us—We’d be delighted to serve your beverage and food needs. Let’s be real, you need to ring out 2016 with a full belly of tasty food and powerful regional brews.
Mark Your Calendars for the first amazing event of the year!
We will be hosting a First Friday Bourbon Tasting on Friday, January 6, 2017 along with live music from local artist Brent Nultemeier.
Every First Friday of each month owners John & Sue Woolard host a two-part fundraiser at Rooster’s Southern Kitchen in Kill Devil Hills and this month’s beneficiary is Outer Banks Relief Foundation.
The event will include a Bourbon Tasting that will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and is hosted by Republic National Distributing Ambassador Jason Bradley. The cost for the tasting is $25 and that includes appetizers and six different bourbon samplings. Outer Banks Relief will receive 100% of Bourbon Tasting ticket sales.
The second part of the fundraising event is that Outer Banks Relief Foundation will also receive 10% from meal sales on that day so celebrate the new year and dine with us on the sixth of January!
