One-Year Anniversary Party at Rooster’s Southern Kitchen
It’s a big deal.
We’ve made it a year being local,
Southern, affordable and delicious.
We’re so thankful for your support this past year
so we’re throwing an all-day one-year anniversary party.
Please join us in celebrating this milestone!
+ Enjoy Food & Drink Specials All Day
+ Free Appetizers 5-7pm
+ Live Music by Dr. Tom at 6pm [free entry] + Giveaways throughout day
+ Special surprise
Please RSVP via our Facebook Event so we can gauge how many appetizers we’ll need to provide from 5pm to 7pm.
-The restaurant is owned by John and Sue Woolard who were born and raised in eastern NC, but have been 30-year residents on the OBX. They teamed up with General Manager Michelle Parrish and opened Rooster’s on May 18th, 2015 for a soft-opening.
-The restaurant building underwent an extensive renovation from January to May 2015, with help from contractor Bill Froehlich, interior designer Janie Molster, architect Bill Ballinger, sidekick Bronwyn Thorton and the Outer Banks community.
-Rooster’s has been through at least six menu revisions in the last year, fine tuning to what Southern delights the public has been asking for!
-The name Rooster’s came from an inside Woolard joke… owner John Woolard calls his children his three chickens and his family home the coop. He wants everyone to feel welcomed home at Rooster’s.
-Rooster’s is humbled by acquiring a following of over 3,500 supporters on social media platforms in less than a year.
PS. We have a brand spankin’ new menu for the summer, with new items like “The WHOLE half bird,” “Garden + Grill” and “Carolina Okra” and we’d love for you to try it out! See our menu here.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the party!
